This feature provides a 30-50% reduction in salt usage and water waste by providing more efficient regenerations. It also ensures you don’t run out of soft water because water hardness spikes for a few hours or days.
Hardness in this region can fluctuate between 17-38 grains hardness, even from day to day. This causes standard softeners to waste salt & water by regeneration too frequently or run out of soft water.
